Missed Appointments Policy


We have had an increasing number of people who fail to turn up for their appointments.

This is extremely frustrating, as we could have used those appointments for other clients who we have had to turn away. Furthermore, it often means that consulting runs late, as those animals that genuinely need to be seen have to be tagged on to the end of the consultation, cutting in to our operating time.
And finally, it costs us money. Each appointment missed is income lost. When the amount is 3 or 4 appointments a day, this amounts to a significant loss of revenue.

Therefore, if you cannot make your appointment, for whatever reason, please give us as much notice as possible so that we can use that appointment slot for someone else.

People who fail to keep an appointment and do not notify us will be charged the price of a consultation.
